Report
Well we've had some weather and wind - with a few loose chains around ! Things are looking a little better this week, with a big high coming across. The polaroiding on Jindabyne has been as good as it gets, with every one seeing plenty of fish - and some catching them. The general trolling and bait fishing has also been quite good - and only looks set to continue improving over the next month as things warm up and the lakes start to rise.We do like to use your reports so call in for a cuppa on your way back home. We'll have the tea and coffee on .
FLYFISHING
Eucumbene: Flyfishing of a night around the mouth of the Eucumbene River has produced some large fish in double figures this season - with the rainbows running now for the anglers who are prepared to keep fishing .You can actually fish in the lake out around the mouth of the river all year - as long as you are outside of "Visible" flowing waters. Using an intermediate sinking fly line and large streamer patterns like woolly buggers, fuzzy wuzzies, Tiahapies and glowing "luminous" flies will bring results right through the winter months. Just remember to look after these fish when releasing them and we'll keep this fishery sustainable for the future. There have been some nice rainbows taken from the other end of the lake as well , with luminous flies bringing the best results.Area's worth a look include Middling bank, Seven gates, Yens bay and Jocks at Breamar.

TROLLING
Eucumbene: The trolling has been quite good lately , mainly down the bottom end of the lake around Buckenderra, Frying Pan, Crows and Breamar Bay.Brent Blackwell from Newcastle trolled out from Breamar bay with flatlines and Tassies in Col's, 48 and 81 for 3 rainbows averaging 1kg. Steve and Tim from Canberra trolled out from Anglers Reach with Attack minnows in brown trout colours and Min mins in the rainbow trout pattern, for 2 nice browns around the kilo each.Other lures worth a run include Baby Merlins in the orange tiger, Deep diving merlins in the orange and green tiger colours ,and legends in rainbow and brown trout colours, and the great new "Sneaky" RMG 35 Scorpions in the frog and perch colours .Our own Alpine Cobra's in the black hole and pink wings, and Tassie Devils in Col 19,36,55 & 72.
