With the close of the barra season lure fishing has been a bit slow, however some great jack's have been taken around the river mouths and rocks on live and cut baits. These fish have been from 45-50cm.
There are still some fingermark in the river but live herrings are becomming hard to get.
If the wind is down along the coast at the various headlands there have been good catches of both doggie and spanish mackeral with the odd cobia thrown in, also some trevally of various sorts, mostly around the 4-5kg.

The reef has been patchy but most people getting a feed of coral trout and red empror.

Diving has also been popular with some crays to 4kg being speared.
